It was a steady dinner rush, but not overly busy or hectic. The man at my window was waiting patiently (or so it seemed, at first) for his Filet-O-Fish and other goodies.
While waiting to receive his bag of food, I began making an iced coffee for another order.
There was a loud BANG. I looked over, and the guy at the window pounded on the glass again. And again. BANG BANG BANG.
I almost thought he was trying to break the window with his balled-up fist. I knew this wouldn’t be good.
“Uh, sir, can I help you with something?”
“What are you doing? Why are you making that? I didn’t order an iced coffee!” he exclaimed frantically. This man was genuinely bothered.
I blinked a few times. And a few more.
You’re right sir, you didn’t order an iced coffee. So stop worrying about it.
I just smiled. You don’t come across a gem like that every day.
